Kemi Filani news recalls Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo’s ex-fiancee, Fancy Acholonu, had recounted a fatal accident which almost claimed her life.
Noting how she isn’t the type to publicly share her struggles often because she gets nervous about being open and vulnerable, she stated that she was working on overcoming that at her own pace.
Fancy disclosed that she had a tough year, and she knows we all go through things but sometimes sharing can help someone else realise nobody’s life is perfect, so we should be grateful for what we have and embrace every moment.
Opening up, Fancy Acholonu revealed that she was involved in a car accident.
She was driving home from work on the freeway, and someone crashed into her. She fell into consciousness, and when she woke up, she was in an ambulance.
For her, the experience made her reflect on life and how short it is.
“I was in a bad car accident a few months ago, and as my birthday is approaching, I’ve been doing a lot of self-reflection on my life. I was driving home from work on the freeway, and someone crashed into me. When I gained consciousness in the ambulance, I thought to myself, wow, is this how I would leave this earth? Just like that? At that moment, I realised that life is short, precious and beyond unpredictable. It can be taken away from you in an instant. I’m not someone who publicly shares my struggles. Often I get nervous being open and vulnerable, but I am working on that at my own pace. I’ve had a pretty traumatic year, and I know we all go through things, but sometimes sharing can help someone else realise nobody’s life is perfect, so we should be grateful for what we have and embrace every moment. Thankfully with the best doctors and physical therapists, I’m healing through it all, but the trauma of the collision has caused me severe anxiety. I thank God for my life; it’s the most precious gift”.
Also, actor Damola Olatunji praised God for the gift of life to his younger brother, Olatunji Abisola Samuel.

Marking his birthday, Damola recounted the near-death experience his brother survived.
His brother, Abisola, was involved in a fatal car accident on January 9, which almost claimed his life.
In a lengthy post on Abiola’s Instagram page, he narrated how he was unconscious for several days and had been told he would have a broken spinal cord if he survived.
According to him, he could have had a spinal cord, paralysis, loss of memory, and all sorts, but as God would have it, he survived.
Celebrating his brother’s new age, Damola Olatunji thanked God for keeping his brother alive.
Showering sweet words on him, Damola rained prayers on him.
The actor further begged his fans to help praise God on his behalf.
