Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan now known as Madrina had called out the music industry over its fake love and friendship.
Taking to her Instagram story to pour out her heart, Madrina stated that there is barely friendship in the industry as people only remember you when you’re trending or they need you to help them kill a beat.
She admitted that it feels good when such people call her and she declines to collaborate with them as their change in voice makes her laugh.
Cynthia recounted how during her crisis only two people showed up for her, while others especially those she had worked with shunned her.
“There is barely friendship in the NMI. These people will likely only remember you when you are trending it when they hear a beat they feel only you can kill. Not intensional but it always feels good these days when they call me and I tell them am not making music at the moment, their voice always changes”
“During my crisis, Kaha sent me 100k, Samklef 50k. What happened to the tons of artistes I did free collaborations and shows for? Lol”.
This is coming just a day after, Nigerian rapper, Gabriel Othe Amanyi better known by his stage name Terry G called out his colleagues for shunning him.
The music star, via his Instagram page, expressed sadness over how all his efforts to reach out to some of his colleagues during his tough times have proved abortive, as no one is responding to him.
He questioned if it was fair the way they were treating him as he told them to remember when they once came to help for help and he answered them. He noted how it is till he dies before they remember him.
This isn’t the first time, Cynthia is calling out the industry. Some years back, she had taken a swipe at her colleagues as upcoming singer Kussman mocked her as he reminisced on how she belittled him during her prime days.
He, however, noted how they both hadn’t had a hit song in 8years.
Reacting to his tweet, Cynthia recounted how she was also snubbed by entertainers like Omawumi, Helen Paul, and Flavor, yet she didn’t vent out over it.
She stated that she left the industry for reasons best known to her, as she dragged Tiwa Sav@ge and Seyi Shay, for using her for their gains.
Last year, Cynthia Morgan reflected on her past ordeal as she lamented over how she has dealt with a lot of witchcraft.
The movie star had called out everyone who had wronged her, from her father to her ex-lover, and her former managers and personal assistants.
She hinted at the industry being possessed as she exposed how they keep destroying lives by introducing them to some unholy things, which she listed out.
Cynthia added that despite not wanting to fight dirty again, she would destroy them with the truth, as she recounted how they did her dirty with her record label saga, most of which, wasn’t to her knowledge.
