Nigerian former dance-hall singer Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has shared a heartbreaking post as she reflects on her pain.
On her Instagram story, she revealed that she was a clown who made music through the harshest conditions and smiled through it all, but would never do such again.
She noted how nobody believed her when she started to speak up, even her family didn’t believe her. The former signee of Jude Okoye said that when she broke down, people said it was drugs because she was too strong. She noted how they said she used her money for drugs.
Praying for God to forgive them, Cynthia added that she cried her eyes out and rained curses on those who hurt her.
“Cynthia Morgan was obviously a clown…she made music through the harshest conditions and smiled through it all. Never again.
To the extent that nobody believed her when she started to speak up, my family didn’t even believe me.
When I broke down, they said it was drugs…all because I was too strong. They said I used my money for drugs..money wey I no see? May God forgive all of you.
I have cried my eyes out this morning, and God knows the people, it will never be well with”.

A day back, Morgan had slammed her colleague and former labelmate, May D, for weighing in on her unending drama with Jude Okoye. She warned him never to call her phone to tell her what he went through, pass her own, as she noted how she never sat him down to tell him what she went through.
Last month, the reggae singer launched a GoFundMe page to help her rise again.
In 2020, Cynthia alleged that her former manager, Jude Okoye took over all her social media accounts and stripped her of her name after she opted to leave the label. An accusation Jude denied with proof. The embattled reggae dancer accused him of owing her N7m and continued to drag him, raining curses on him as she wished him suffering and tagged him “evil”.
During Jude’s battle with the EFCC, Cynthia stated that only God would make her forget the 25th of May 2020, when almost every Nigerian called her a liar because Jude and her former manager, Joy, couldn’t own up to their mistakes. She noted how her handler was bullied and her whole world was shattered as her story was retold with lies.
