Media personality, Daddy Freeze and actor, Deyemi Okanlawon have reacted to singer, Paul Okoye’s new relationship with Instagram model, Ivy Ifeoma.
It is no longer news that the father of three has finally moved on from his ex-wife and found comfort in the hands of an influencer.
Since the news of his new relationship broke out, many have been left divided over his new found love life. While some congratulated him, others slammed him for moving on speedily from his ex-wife.
Media personality, Daddy Freeze, doesn’t seem to be a fan of the new relationship as he left an unflattering comment on a blog’s page.
The controversial former OAP reminded the couple that breakfast is a nourishing meal.
“Breakfast is a nourishing meal”.
Meanwhile, actor, Deyemi Okanlawon jokingly stated that the lady could be his sister.
“E fit be him sister o”.
Relationship expert, Blessing Okoro questioned if the singer isn’t allowed to move on again.
She wrote, “Make person no move on again”.
Paul Okoye’s new lover
KFN reported earlier that the singer had made headlines when he proudly showed off his new woman. Trust Nigerians, to dig out the identity of his mystery lover.
Paul Okoye’s new woman is Ivy Ifeoma, an Instagram model and influencer. Known as Ivy Zenny on Instagram, Ifeoma also doubles as a digital creator, fashion, beauty and lifestyle influencer.
A look through her page, showed that Paul Okoye had been liking most of her posts as far back as January. Seems like the couple have been together for a while.
The influencer had even shared a loved-up video with the singer. Zenny revealed that she had planned to take him out on his birthday in November, but he ended up treating her to a lovely night out.
“Men will stain your white! The plan was to take him out on his birthday, but he took me.out instead! SMH!! Okunrin!!”.
Paul Okoye had even liked the video.
Paul Okoye’s divorce saga
His new relationship is coming one year after the mother of his three kids divorced him.
Anita Okoye, the estranged wife of singer in her divorce filing had requested the sum of $15,000 (N7 8M) monthly as spousal and child support.
The information was contained in the documents she filed in court requesting the dissolution of her marriage on grounds of irreconcilable differences.
This is part of the demands the mother of three made in the petition she filed before an Abuja High Court.
“Payment of a monthly maintenance sum of $15,000.00 (N7.8m) for the general welfare, education and health of the three children of the union who are presently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age,” part of the document read.
Recall that a divorce petition filed by Anita at the Federal High Court, Abuja leaked on the internet. PulseNG reports that she also advised her now estranged husband in the legal document to challenge the petition if he feels disgruntled.
However, Paul Okoye’s camp stated that the singer and father of three was yet to be served any legal document regarding this issue..
Anita first sparked divorce rumours in April when it was reported that she relocated with their three children to the United States of America. Anita and Paul who were university sweethearts got married in 2014 in a very flamboyant wedding ceremony held in Port Harcourt.
