Media personality, Daddy Freeze has sent a message to newly married celebrity designer, Veekee James and her husband as he slams Nigerians.
Kemi Filani reported that the celebrity designer was in the news over the weekend following her grand wedding. The final leg of her wedding was held on Saturday and one of the highlights of the moment was when she used 200 choirs to perform at her wedding.
Unfortunately, her wedding was heavily criticized by many, who believed the celebrity designer was doing too much.
Defending her, Daddy Freeze told Nigerians to allow the newly married rest. Gushing over the couple, he told them to enjoy their marriage.
“Cute couple. Let them rest. Enjoy your marriage guys”.
Recall that Veekee James addressed the criticisms of her marriage on Sunday as she reacted to the Super Eagles loss at AFCON.
She expressed excitement at being able to finally free from trolling, as she noted how Nigerians would face the Super Eagles.
Unlike Daddy Freeze who defended the couple, Singer, Chike, who was tired of the over-the-top display and most importantly the worship session took to a blog’s comment to leave an insensitive comment. The singer told the fashion designer to rest.
Comedian Deeone took a dig at her, disclosing that Veekee was making her husband uncomfortable with all the extravagant stuff that she was doing for her wedding. He further stated that after doing thorough research on her husband, he has discovered that the husband is a very low-key and reserved person.
He revealed that she was doing too much while he also disclosed that it was possible that the husband was richer than her but did not want to make it so known.
Skitmaker, Deacon Famous revealed that Veekee James was doing everything possible to make sure that her wedding was trending.
He compared her to gospel artists Mercy Chinwo and Moses Bliss as he revealed that the two celebrities did not have to do much for their weddings to trend.
Also, singer Skales had jumped on to react by commenting with “omo”, probably alluding to the fact that it was too dramatic.
