Nigerian superstar singers, Davido and Burna Boy are set to make Nigerians proud as they headline the 2023 Afro Nation in Detroit.
For the first time, Afro Nation is coming to Detroit and has been scheduled to hold on the 19th-20th of August 2023.
The festival will hold at Bedrock’s Douglas site in Michigan and has a lineup that includes Burna Boy and Davido as major headliners.
Other artists slated to perform are Kizz Daniel, Latto, P-Square, Naira Marley, Victony, Stonebwoy, Libianca, Diamond Platnumz, and others.
The Afro Nation will first hit Miami on the 27th of May, 2023 before heading down to Detroit in August.
Burna Boy breaks the heart of fans expecting him at Afro Nation Puerto Rico
Recall that last year, Burna Boy broke the heart of his fans, who expected him at the 2022 Afro Nation Puerto Rico.
Afro Nation Puerto Rico is the world’s biggest Afrobeats festival which came to America on March 24th-26th 2022.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Burna Boy revealed he would not make it to the event due to circumstances beyond his control.
Burna Boy added that he would make it up to his fans during his absence at the event.
In his word: I’m extremely gutted that I won’t be at Afro Nation Puerto Rico. Due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. I will make it up to you all for sure! Love, Damini”.
