The “Unavailable” crooner has been recognized as an “Outstanding Georgia citizen” by the Georgia State of Assembly.
Davido shared the good news on his Instagram page with a video of him at the U.S. state of Georgia General Assembly.
Expressing happiness over the good news, he asserted that God is good.
“This morning I attended the U.S State of Georgia General Assembly meeting with the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia State Senate to be recognized as an ‘Outstanding Georgia Citizen’ … God is good”.

Kemi Filani reported in October that Davido was honored by Atlanta and Georgia with a ‘Day’ dedicated to praising him. His lawyer, Prince Ajudua shared screenshots of the certificate of declaration.
Atlanta had officially declared November 18th, 2023 as Davido’s Day, while Fluton County, Georgia has declared November 21st, 2023 as Davido Appreciation Day.
His fans went wild with joy over the news as they took to the comment section to hail their King.
Recall that since the release of his comeback album, Timeless, Davido has been soaring high as his album now has over a billion streams.
His new album has brought the singer more recognition and has made him a Grammy nominee. Timeless bagged 3 nominations for Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy.
Speaking on his nomination, Davido affirmed that delay isn’t denial, especially since his contemporaries, Burna Boy and Wizkid have been recognized by the academy.
