Afrobeats singer Davido has finally reacted following singer Buju throwing a shade at him on social media.
Recall that earlier today, Buju had taken to the X-platform to promote his new artist. An X-user known as Ola had shaded him as he revealed that his new artist was not good.
However, Buju had slammed him, stating that he was a retard. He further revealed that this particular C user’s fave was not that good, hence why he should not have spoken at all.
In his words, he stated,
“ Knowing your fave, you’re not supposed to speak on anything regarding music. Fem.” His use of the word FEM further cemented the fact that he meant Davido.
Also, on further research of this Twitter user’s profile, it was discovered that he used Davido as his display picture on his Twitter. Some netizens and core fans of Davido immediately took to slamming Buju, as they revealed that it was unnecessary for him to singularly attack Davido when the Twitter personality in question had been slamming him directly.
Now, Davido has reacted to this. Taking to the X-platform, Davido deleted a particular tweet he made back in April 2023. In the tweet, he had revealed that he had made a song with Buju and that it was a complete classic.
He had also hinted at the fact that they were going to release it soon. Now, taking to the X-platform, he deleted that tweet, suggesting that he was no longer interested in pursuing a musical collaboration with Buju.
Also reacting to this new development, Buju took to the X-platform to defend himself against troll comments. He revealed that he had been the person to write the song in the first place and would still release it. He also stated that fans were always blowing things out of proportion.
