Music star, Davido, and Big Brother Naija reality star, Nini Ivy have reacted to the recent post of Simon Guobadia, a Nigerian entrepreneur, philanthropist, executive producer, and the ex-husband of American reality star, Porsha Williams.
It is no longer news that Simon and Porsha Williams who tied the knot a year ago have parted ways, over undisclosed reasons. Following their separation, Simon has been dropping several shady posts.
In his latest post, he shared a photo of him and a lady, Yasmin Ibrahim. Calling her his sister, he told her to keep winning as he expressed how proud he was of her.
“My Habesha sis. @yassminkibrahim Keep winning, very proud of you”.
Taking to his comment section, Davido and Nina Ivy noted how the businessman has been restless since Porsha filed for divorce from him.
Davido stated that the entrepreneur was no doubt worried as he commented, “Baba u dey worry
Nina Ivy stated that Simon likes clout and attention and many were feeding into it. ‘This man likes clout and attention. Y’all are giving him exactly what he wants lol”.
Last month, Porsha Williams surprised many after she filed for divorce from her Nigerian husband of a year.
According to reports, the reality star pulled the plug on their marriage on Thursday in Atlanta and at the time of reporting the cause of their split is an ‘ongoing matter’.
Confirming the news, Simon had sent a note of love to her, promising to never stop loving her until their divorce was final.
Recall that Williams and Guobadia said “I do”, in November 2023 in a lavish Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony followed by an American wedding in Atlanta.
Unfortunately, things seem to have turned sour between the two as Simon had advised her friends, who pressured her into divorcing him to check on her mental health.
Following the separation, Simon had sparked dating rumors with fashion designer, Jenelle Salazar as they both shared pictures to their Instagram stories, seemingly from the same yacht.
Actress, Georgina Onuoha reacted to their crashed marriage as she noted how karma came quickly for Porsha Williams just one year after her marriage. She noted how she wrote about Porsha’s betrayal, unknowingly that their marriage would hit the rock soon.
She noted how one would always lose a partner the same way she gets them as she pointed out how there is a reason Simon Guobadia has been through 3-4 marriages, and tons of criminal records, amongst others.
Georgina slammed Porsha for hurting another woman to find her own fairytale as she admonished her fans never to trust the lifestyle people display on social media.
Yul Edochie, on his part while addressing those who mocked the couple for having an elaborate wedding just to file for divorce a year later, admonished couples planning a big wedding to go ahead with it. He advised them to do what makes them happy and shouldn’t allow anyone to decide how they should spend their money.
According to him, if having a big wedding would pain their haters, then it should pain them well. However, what he doesn’t approve of is having to beg to have a big wedding.
