Award-winning Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido has penned an appreciation post to his wife, Chioma Rowland.
As the singer’s new album hits all streaming platforms today, Davido expressed gratitude to all who have been there for him especially during his tough times.
Davido revealed that the journey from his last album to his new album has been a whirlwind, bit with the love and support he got from people, he was able to see through.
The father of three recalled sitting and staring over the ocean wondering if he could get here today, after all he has been through.
While appreciating his supporters, Davido specially appreciated his wife, Chioma Rowland, who he described as the strongest woman he knows.
“At long last. WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least. I recall sitting and staring over the ocean not too long ago, wondering if I could get here again, after all I’ve been through…..but with your love and support, we made it. I’m not sure what comes after this but I wanted to give you my heart, soul and energy. Today I present you “TIMELESS”.

Davido happily speaks out on his marriage to Chioma Rowland
For the first time since news broke out of their marriage, Davido addressed his marriage to Chioma.
In his first interview since his break from the spotlight, the beloved singer touched on his marriage to Chioma Rowland, his album Timeless, his challenging times and his future plans.
The exclusive interview which was conducted by skitmaker, Kiekie, also saw him touch on music, his label DMW, his talented new signees and his upcoming concert.
Confirming the news, Davido happily announced to the world that he is married.
Showing off his wedding ring, he told viewers that he got married during his break.
Davido traditionally weds Chioma
Kemi Filani reported on November that Davido and Chioma had their traditional wedding following the loss of their son.
Gistlovers blog had alleged that the singer secretly got married to Chioma after their son’s death.
The traditional wedding which was done in his father’s house, had few family friends in attendance with no camera allowed.
According to the blog, Chioma’s bride price had been paid in full.
The traditional wedding was held on November 6th, to console Chioma and assure her of her place with Davido.
In January, Davido solidified their marriage as he paid Chioma’s bride price (Umunna) in full at Ezeala Odu, Imo state.
