Award-winning Afrobeats singer, Davido seems to be in a reflective mood as he pens emotional self notes.
The singer recounted the struggles he has passed through in the music industry to get to his present stage.
Davido noted how many controversies have been set around him and how many news about him is always negative.
Davido revealed that he had maned up several times to work things out with people the media have made his enemies despite being the little one by age.
He described himself as the only Nigerian artiste that almost every other successful and great artiste in the Nigerian music industry has either been compared to or formed against.
“A lot of controversies have been set around this Legend and you almost never hear or read anything good about him on mainstream media outlets, a lot of tools have been put in place to discourage him and hold him back. A popular cliche says self-appreciation is a sign of maturity, seeking appreciation is a sign of immaturity, and Davido does not want to be in a state of reminding people to celebrate his FIFA win.
Davido made history and made Nigerians proud as he, alongside Trinidad Cardona and AISHA, sang the 2022 World Cup soundtrack titled ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better Together).
Taking to the microblogging platform Twitter, Davido said he was honoured with the feat, adding it was a win for Africa.
