Award-winning hip hop artiste, Davide Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has prayed for his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, as the Supreme Court hearing commences today.
Earlier today, Davido tweeted about the Osun State Election petition hearing coming up at the Supreme Court, today. The hearing slated for 2:00 pm got many praying for a free and fair verdict from the judge.
The father of three revealed that he is looking forward to the affirmation that his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, won the Osun State Gubernatorial election.
Davido prayed that God would let the court do the right thing by declaring his uncle as the legal winner of the election.
He tweeted, “Osun State Election Petition hearing comes up at the Supreme Court today. We look forward to the judicial affirmation of @AAdeleke_01 (The people’s) mandate. The hardest part is done, winning a free and fair election. May God let the court do the right thing.”
Recall that there was wild jubilation on the streets of Osun state as citizens of the state joined the victor to celebrate his victory in the just concluded election.
Also, the internet was filled with congratulatory messages from party members and fans of Davido, who commended his efforts and dedication towards his uncle’s victory in the state.

Davido warmed his way into the heart of his fans when he gifted his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, a 90 million naira Rolex wristwatch in celebration of his position as the governor-elect of Osun State.
An online video captured Davido’s moment with his uncle, father and some of his family and friends while he gifted Ademola Adeleke the wristwatch.
Davido was captured in the video saying the watch was a new gift for the new governor.
