Nigerians have taken to questioning Davido’s recent statement, where he revealed that he has never gotten a gift from anyone.
This came after Atletico Madrid star Memphis had gifted Davido a Rolex while celebrating his 30th birthday party.
In a video shared on social media, Davido had excitedly hugged him while loudly expressing that he has never received gifts from people and that he is always the one to gift people.
However, netizens found it a bit weird as they revealed that there were numerous instances where he had publicly gotten gifts from Nigerians.
In particular, a man on Twitter known KennyTheGoat hinted at the fact that Davido was ungrateful as he expressed that netizens had donated money for the video on his birthday and yet he was saying that he has never received gifts.
In his words, he says,
“same Davido that we all donated money for on his birthday saying he never received gifts. Is this the motherfucking thanks we get”
Other netizens had also reacted to Davido’s statement. One Jali had this to say.
