International pop star, Davido has tendered an apology to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for calling them out over their failure to issue his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke certificate of return following his victorious win.
Kemi Filani reported that Davido had expressed displeasure over the actions of INEC, as they were yet to issue his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, his certificate of office.
The electoral body, INEC had refused to issue a certificate to Ademola Adeleke as the governor-elect of the state.
Taking to the microblogging platform, Twitter, Davido mocked INEC for not sending the certificate on time, and he strictly warned them not to tamper with the will of Osun citizens.
In a new update, the Independent National Electoral Commission on Wednesday presented the certificate of return to Osun State Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
Taking to his Twitter page, Davido apologised to the commission for his outburst.
He tweeted, “You do well @inecnigeria no vex for yesterday đâ€đ€”.
In another tweet, Davido congratulated his uncle for his victorious win.
” It’s been a long battle fought! We put our Family name on the line, I put my career on the line! But we had faith!! This was God testing us if we really believed in him!! I feel victorious! Congrats! Your excellency @AAdeleke_01 As for me it’s back to the studio!”.
