Award-winning superstar singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido has answered a fan’s curiosity about his wife, Chioma Rowland’s whereabouts.
The fan had questioned where the singer’s wife was as Chioma has stayed silent ever since her public appearance at his uncle’s inauguration.
“Where’s Chioma?”.
Reacting to it, Davido stated that his wife is in her husband’s house.
“In her husband’s house”.
Davido traditionally weds Chioma
Kemi Filani reported in November that Davido and Chioma had their traditional wedding following the loss of their son.
Gistlovers blog alleged that the singer secretly got married to Chioma after their son’s death.
The traditional wedding which was done in his father’s house, had few family friends in attendance with no camera allowed.
According to the blog, Chioma’s bride price had been paid in full.
Recall that Davido had vowed to marry Chioma the next year, but after the tragedy happened, the singer speedily wedded her.
The traditional wedding was held on November 6th, to console Chioma and assure her of her place with Davido.
Because of the tragedy surrounding their marriage, Davido couldn’t perform his Umunna rites, and as such he and Chioma weren’t fully married according to the Igbo laws.
Davido allegedly expecting another child with one of his baby mamas
However, there are reports of marital tension between the couple.
News broke out days back that Davido is expecting another child with one of his baby mamas, which is believed to be Amanda, the mother of Hailey, who resides in the US.
Instagram blogger, Gistlover claimed that the singer had impregnated one of his baby mamas, whose name wasn’t mentioned.
According to the blog, Davido is expecting a child with one of his baby mamas and the matter is messy.
The blogger claimed that Davido’s father is infuriated with him and Chioma had angrily moved out of the house but is back now after several pleas.
Adding fuel to the rumors, a netizen, identified as Lovethy, who seems to have first-hand information about the saga stated that Amanda had already welcomed a child for him.
Lovethy claimed that Amanda was 5 to 6 months pregnant before Davido married Chioma and he did that after Chioma’s family insisted that he must marry her to be able to take Ify’s dead body.
Meanwhile, during their break-up, Davido reunited with Amanda and had gotten her pregnant. Amanda became a pregnant mid-last year, and Davido allegedly tried persuading her to get an abortion but Amanda remained adamant. Read more here.
