Nigerian music star David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has expressed excitement over turning 32.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform on the eve of his birthday, Davido expressed how grateful he is to be alive as he revealed that he has gone through a lot. However, his fans have been standing solidly behind him.
“BIG 32 SOON !!! OMO GOD IS GOOD HAPPY TO ALIVE !! MY EYE DON SEE SHEGE!! BUT STEADY MY FANS DEY SHOUT SHEKPE!!!”.
A week back, Davido had announced a birthday concert. He revealed that he would be holding a concert on his birthday, which would have in attendance Odumodublvck, Ecool, Mayorkun, and a host of others.
Keeping with his yearly birthday ritual, the father of twins went on Twitter to share with his fans that he would donate to orphanages and charity homes that help the young avoid drug abuse addiction. He stated that the amount would be N300 million, noting that he would release more details soon.
Gifting himself a pre-birthday gift, Davido had bought a Tesla Cyber Truck. He said he was bored and added the Matte Black Tesla Cyber, which is valued at N254 million.
In April, Davido had splashed almost a billion on a Rolls Royce Spectre. Giving an update on the car days back, the automobile company revealed that the singer was set to take delivery of his Rolls Royce. Davido also took to his Instagram story to confirm the news as he reposted the video of Lati, one of his aides talking with the company’s official.
A week before acquiring the new car, Davido took delivery of his private jet, a Bombardier 7500 tear rubber which was worth between $68 million to $78 million. The news left many talking, while some congratulated him over his latest possession, others expressed disbelief, calling him a clout chaser.
Last year, Davido celebrated his 31st birthday with the birth of his twins. The award-winning singer shared a collage of photos of him, his wife, and his newborn twins. In one of the photos, Davido could be seen kissing his wife, Chioma at his Away Festival. In another post, Davido was captured holding his twins while in the hospital with a smile. The singer expressed gratitude to God for his blessings.
