Award-winning music star David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has offered support to his best friend, Cubana Chief Priest, as he ventures into music.
In a video captured online, the Grammy nominee revealed that he is executively producing Cubana Chief Priest’s new song, which is coming out on his birthday. He further revealed that he sat with CP and directed him well.
“I executively produced CP’s new song coming out on his birthday. I sat him there and directed him well”.

Over the years, Cubana has become well-known for being a ride-and-die for Davido. While celebrating the singerâs 32nd birthday last year, Cubana had made a promise to be there for him for life. He noted how people will continue to be envious of him as he rained prayers on him.
In October, Cubana had expressed excitement at being a member of 30BG after the testimony from Davidoâs father about his new power plant. Cubana expressed pride in his accomplishments which he claimed left him with sleepless nights.
In July, Chief Priest affirmed his love and loyalty to Davido by letting him know that he loves him with every air he breathes.
When Davido and Chioma reconciled in 2022, Cubana was overjoyed as he prayed for the couple to welcome another child. While hailing Chioma, Chief Priest dissed Sophia Momodu, the singerâs first baby mama, noting how Davido and Chiomaâs relationship is âsweetingâ some people and âpainingâ others.
Davido and Cubanaâs friendship, like many other friendship has gone through a rough patch. In 2023, many were surprised when Davido and Cubana unfollowed each other on Instagram, hinting at conflict. However, in May, 2023 the two reconciled as Davido took to Cubanaâs comment section to hail him, noting how his best friend loves enjoyment, while also describing him as his in-law.
