Results from the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission showed that the governship candidate of the Poeples Democratic Party, Adeleke was leading.

In another video, an overjoyed Davido fell to the grounds at the collation centre out of joy.
This good news is coming hours after Davido, expressed joy over how voters were rejecting vote-buying in the ongoing Osun State gubernatorial election.
Davido stated this on Saturday via his official verified Twitter handle.
The 29-year-old hip-hop star is a nephew to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
He wrote: “People rejecting money being offered to them left and right of the state today…GREAT TO SEE. There is still hope for Nigeria.”
