Lati, the bouncer and aide to music star, Davido has allegedly compensated the singer’s fan, whom he slapped with N200k.
A few days back, Lati made headlines after a video of him assaulting the singer’s fans went viral. He had assaulted two fans who wanted to make a video with Davido. In the first video, Lati punched a fan for taking pictures with the singer at an event. In another video, Lati landed a heavy slap on another male fan who tried to reach Davido’s side.
Now according to reports, Lati had allegedly compensated him for the assault with N200k. A screenshot of the N200k credit alert is making rounds online and the report on it claimed that Lati had reached out to him to apologize for his wrongdoing.
Unfortunately, many netizens aren’t buying it as they noted how the fan could have made more if he had sued him.

Recall that Anita Joseph had reacted to the video, describing it as unfair and questioning what triggered him.
Skitmaker and content creator, Mr Macaroni expressed how saddening he was seeing the video as he described it as condemnable and dehumanizing.
Speaking against it, he stated that he knows what it feels like and there was no need for his aide to assault a fan.
In another tweet, he admonished fans to respect the privacy of celebrities as he noted how respect is reciprocal. In a message to celebrities, he told them to treat their fans with respect and dignity.
Last year, during Mohbad’s Candlelight ceremony, Davido made headlines after he was captured knocking a fan’s phone as he attempted to capture the singer.
Also during his Timeless Concert, Davido was on alert mode after a fan of his stormed the stage to meet him.
Davido, who was on alert mode, was ready to punch the fan, but the timely intervention of security threw the fan off stage.
