Recently Anita, also known as Nina de Elite, publicly apologized to Chioma, the wife of Nigerian music superstar Davido.
This apology comes after a series of insults and poking from Anita to Chioma, during which Anita even accused Chioma of being a “pity wife.” However, Anita now claims that her actions were fueled by hurt and frustration.
The feud had been between her and Davido, but netizens were surprised when she roped Chioma in. She suggested that Chioma’s relationship with Davido was one-sided and built on sympathy.
Anita’s controversial actions didn’t end with her accusations against Chioma. Just weeks before her public apology, Anita found herself embroiled in a scandal of her own making. She claimed to be pregnant with Davido’s child and even shared an ultrasound scan photo on her Instagram page. However, eagle-eyed Nigerians quickly discovered that she had lifted the ultrasound image from Google, exposing her fabrication.
Adding to the drama, Anita made headlines back in August when she posted an image on Instagram that featured her dressed in an orange jumpsuit, resembling prison attire. The image bore the words “Free Chef Chi,” directly referencing Chioma. This post garnered significant attention and stirred the pot further, drawing reactions from both Anita’s followers and fans of Davido.
Despite her previous confrontations and questionable actions, Anita has now extended an olive branch to Chioma through a heartfelt apology. In her statement, she admits that her previous comments and actions were rooted in her own hurt and frustration.

“lam going through a tr matic & tragic time in my life. I honestly don’t want to speak on it & don’t need to, or have to speak on it. It’s too much to bear right now. Im disquieted by all of the events that have taken place. The only thing iwill say is i regret that I let my pain and feelings of betrOyal allow me to turn me against another woman. So, i apologize to Chioma. I never intended to speak on you or your child. Losing is never a good feeling, being he rt by someone you love and care about is not a good feeling.
Moving forward i would prefer to be known for the light i bring into the world.”
