Amanda, the second babymama of music star Davido, has replied to a follower who told her to get married.
In a question-and-answer session with Amanda, the fan noted that her baby daddy, Davido, is married with kids. He admonished her to get married, too.
“Your baby daddy is married with a wife and kids. You should get married too”.
Replying to the fan, Laplubelle, as she is known on Instagram, noted that it isn’t a competition. She stated that there is no rush as she believes whenever God decides, it will happen.
“It’s not a competition, and there’s no rush.
Whenever God decides it will happen”.
In 2023, social media was agog when news broke out that Davido had fathered another child with one of his baby mamas. Many believed it was Amanda, as she was the only one who was pregnant and newly welcomed a baby.
Fueling the rumours, a netizen claimed that Amanda was 5 to 6 months pregnant before Davido married Chioma after Chioma’s family insisted that he must marry her to be able to take Ify’s dead body. She claimed Davido allegedly tried persuading Amanda to get an abortion, but she remained adamant. He tried to use Sophia Momodu to spite Amanda, but she didn’t back down and stood her ground, and then he ran back to Chioma.
Davido has since tied the knot to Chioma and they welcomed twins in 2023.
