Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has cried out to her colleagues who produced low quality unworthy movies on the giant streaming app, YouTube.
Debbie Shokoya’s lamentation came following the outcry against Nollywood movies produced on YouTube, especially the Yoruba film.
On Instagram, the new mother expressed her mind against those who produced movies all for the sake of production.
She decried the rate at which people condemn the Youruba film genre and how she was able to confirm the accusations. She encouraged her colleagues to change the narrative about the Yoruba industry and allow Evry department for their job.
Debbie advocated for the crew of a movie production explaining the need for them to function effectively. She further asked each crew member to function according to their department.

In 2023, Debbie Shokoya lost her first pregnancy at eight months.
In an emotional video on her Instagram page, she tearfully recounted how she lost her pregnancy at eight months, how she sacrificed and went through a lot for her unborn child and even bonded with her child so well before the loss.
Following this, Debbie opened up on her pregnancy journey, revealing that she first thought she lost but God was planning the best for her.
She recalled how the result said she had high prolactin, but God turned it to pregnancy. Shee also spoke about how the devil tried using her trauma against her but God was standing by her and He blessed her beyond how she could describe it.
