Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has spoken out on the inspiration behind her new podcast, Motherhood with Mummy K on her YouTube page.
She revealed that the inspiration for the show came to her in 2023, after her first experience of motherhood. An emotional Debbie said it was her way of sharing her testimony to the world.
Debbie believes that a lot of women will learn from her show and they will be encouraged. According to her, the show is to tell every woman that they aren’t alone as she noted how motherhood is a deep journey.
The movie star added that motherhood comes with a lot as some women face loss before they get their joy, some face nos before yes, and some have to sacrifice much more. In the end, there is always a unique story to be told. The mother of one expressed gratitude to God for the inspiration of the show as she noted how lives will be touched and changed.

Kemi Filani reported in August, 2024 that the actress welcomed a baby girl, a year after losing her first pregnancy.
Debbie opened up on her pregnancy journey, revealing how the devil tried using her trauma against her on her journey but God was standing by her. She recalled how the result said she had high prolactin, but God turned it to pregnancy.
Recall that in 2023, Debbie in an emotional video, tearfully recounted how she lost her pregnancy at eight months. She noted how she sacrificed and went through a lot for her unborn child and even bonded with her child so well before the loss.
