Neo Akpofure has joined the conversation concerning a bullying video that emerged earlier today.
Some hours ago, a video of a some secondary students bullying another girl had emerged online.
Things had been made even more profound when the victim was videos been slapped across the face multiple times.
Reacting to this, Neo Akpofure took to the C platform to air his opinion. He revealed that his nephew had once got bullied in school and they had reminded the boarding school that a child from a big family cannot be bullied.
In his words, he had this to say,
“This whole bullying matter just made me remember when my nephew got bullied in boarding school, nah that day them know say you no dey bully pikin wen come from Big Family.”
However , some netizens did not like the way his statement sounded and slammed him for being classist with his comments. Others came to his aid as they expressed that he was being misinterpreted.
Also recall that earlier today, Kemi Filani had reported on the girl who had been the main bully in the video, Maryam Hassan. She had tendered an apology to the victim who she had slapped multiple times across the face. She had also tendered an apology to Nigerians.
