Nollywood actor and politician, Desmond Elliot and his proud supporters are celebrating his re-election bid in Lagos.
A video making rounds showed the actor and others rejoicing as they await election result.
His constituency, Surulere 1 held a victory night for him where they were seen chanting victory songs for him.
This is coming after the politician paid an appreciation visit to the speaker of the House of Representatives.
Sharing a video of his courtesy visit, Desmond Elliot appreciated him for being his father, mentor, leader and speaker of the nation.

Desmond Elliot donates transformers to Surulere
Kemi Filani reported that Desmond Elliot had donated transformers to his constituency.
The two-term incumbent Surulere representative revealed on social media that he had commissioned the installment of high-capacity transformers in Surulere
This is to bring reliable electricity to communities that have long needed it”.
The recipients of the transformers include, Somade Crescent, Main street, Clegg street, James Robertson, Akerele, Martins Street and Tafawa Balewa.
He made the donations days before the election to win his people’s hearts.
