Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has applauded Nigerians for their patience amid the economic hardship.
In the wake of the protest in Kenya, she noted how, despite the situation in the country, we still wake up with smiles on our faces, pushing every day. She crowned Nigerians as the most patient country in the world and declared the citizens the VIPs.
“Nigerians are one of the most patient countries in the world. See how things are in the country? We still wake up, have smiles on our faces, and still push every day.
Nigerians are VIPs”.
Reacting to it, while some concurred with her, others disagreed as they noted how Nigerians are scared to protest against the government.

Just a week back, talent manager Paulo Okoye had also declared Nigerians as one of the most patient countries in the world. He noted that amid the hardship in the country, citizens wake up daily with smiles on their faces, still pushing it. Declaring Nigerians VIPs, he noted how the government take advantage of our patience.
A few days back, Uche Elendu had lamented the price of a crate of eggs. The movie star revealed that a crate of eggs is being sold for N6000 in her area. Calling out the government, she told them to ban eggs in the country as she expressed doubts that a fowl laid the egg.
Early this month, Yoruba actress Yewande Adekola Abiodun lamented bitterly over the price of a bag of Garri, which is being sold for N80,000. She noted how Garri used to be a poor man’s food, but now, it has become expensive.
Similarly, in February, Debbie Shokoya lamented over the cost of living in the country. She questioned which country she could easily relocate to as she noted how a bag of rice was being sold at N90k.
During the festive period, Mary Njoku had cried out over the hardship and state of the economy in the country, revealing that she went shopping and spent N100k at the supermarket, yet her trolley was not full.
