Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has expressed excitement for her colleague, Ekene Umenwa as she welcomes her first child.
On Monday, the light-skinned actress who tied the knot last year, announced the birth of her first child as she channelled her inner Virgin Mary in her maternity shoot. She expressed how blessed she was by the Lord’s mercy as she described her pregnancy journey as a wonderful experience.
She appreciated Mother Mary for standing by her throughout, and in her humble attempt to honour her, she dressed like Mother Mary, for her maternity shoot.
Sharing a clip from the shoot, Destiny Etiko stated that when she had the news, she shouted because she knew the journey. She expressed gratitude to her Maker for being so good as she expressed her excitement at meeting the baby.

In her comment section, Ekene appreciated her for always being there.

Recall that Ekene Umenwa made headlines on her wedding day, last year when a video of her leaving her husband to embrace and kneel before Gospel singer, Moses Bliss made rounds online.
This sparked criticism, with many arguing that her actions were inappropriate for a married woman. In response, Ekene thanked her friend for facilitating her meeting with Moses Bliss. She also thanked the gospel singer for gracing her wedding, describing his presence as instrumental in making the event memorable and vibrant.
