One Tutu, a young lady in her 30s and a staff of the Department of State Services, DSS, has jumped into the Lagos Lagoon following a heated argument with her lover.
Kemi Filani gathered that only four months ago, Tutu got a commendation from the DG, DSS, as the best-unarmed combat operative in her set, which was followed by a surprise engagement to her lover as seen in viral below.
The Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA) has now confirmed that she indeed alighted from a Uber taxi car on the Lagos Third Mainland Bridge and plunged into the lagoon on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
The agency’s permanent secretary Dr. Olufemi Osanyintolu said in a statement that the emergency services of the state have begun searching for her in the lagoon.
He said: “Upon the arrival of the Lagos Response Team (LRT) at the incident scene, the investigation revealed that a lady in her late 30s plunged into the Lagos lagoon
“Further investigation revealed that the lady alighted from a Uber taxi car on the bridge and plunged into the lagoon.
”The driver of the taxi claimed she was having a heated conversation with her fiance before alighting from the car.
“The LRT, men of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), and officials of the Department of State Service (DSS) are currently on the ground working together in search for the victim.”
