Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon has penned an appreciation note to his friend and colleague, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya.
Taking to his Instagram page to share a video of him and Jimmy praying, Deyemi Okanlawon appreciated and celebrated Jimmy for being a true friend.
According to him, if anyone should ask him to show them a man quick to pray with others, he would show them Jimmy Odukoya.
“Show me a man quick to pray with others…. and I’ll show you a true friend. I appreciate you, I celebrate you, Sir”.
Kemi Filani reported that Jimmy Odukoya had succeeded his father as senior pastor of the Fountain of Life church.
The Nollywood actor has taken on the role of Senior Pastor at the Fountain of Life Church. The big change follows the passing of his father, Taiwo Odukoya, who was the founder of the renowned church.
Recall that when the news of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya’s death broke out, Deyemi Okanlawon gave praise to God.
Deyemi revealed that his heart is heavy with the sad news, however, he is giving praise to God for a life lived full and committed to the Will of God.
The screen god added that he praised God that heaven has received one more son and declared that the seeds he planted will grow and flourish through generations.
In other news, Deyemi Okanlawon and his colleague, Mofe Duncan had finally settled their years of feud.
The actors’ huge age difference has been a cause of argument between the two as Deyemi Okanlawon is older than Mofe.
However, the movie stars decided to put an end to their rift after Mofe Duncan stepped into the 40th club.
Appreciating Deyemi, Mofe thanked him for his words and prayers and for being special, while stating that he was tempted to let him believe he was a better actor than him.
