Tiwa Savage made a post on Instagram, and she shared a few cute photos.
Singer Brymo came to her comment section, and here’s what he had to say;
“Hey @tiwasavage .l’d like to know the thoughts behind the … “men are c***y” line…. because it’s the one crazy” thing boys say most in private spaces about your gender, and none of us ever made a song exclusively about how deranged y’all are…
Yet you did with Simi, and you are the
first of both that I am seeing post from since then… so I ask ;- did you play reverse psychology on us and making the song a projection. and gaslighting the shit out of me by that??? …. or have real reasons to say so??. and if it be the latter, expand it for me, please!!.”
The song Brymo was referring to was released a few weeks ago by Simi, and she featured Tiwa Savage on it.
It created a huge buzz at the time of its release because it was the first time both artist were working together.
Brymo’s question about the song pertains to the lyrics, which spoke about men being unfaithful to women.
The question now lies as to the reason why Brymo feels personally affected by the lyrics of the song, even though his name was not mentioned.
Brymo has had issues with Simi in the past, when he said the only reason why he didn’t work with her is because he hasn’t slept with her.
His reason being that he prefers working with female singers he’s slept with because they have shared a connection together.
This statement clearly didn’t sit well with Adekunle Gold, as he lashed out at him, and asked him not to mention his wife’s name anymore.
Brymo has been involved in a lot of controversies, relating to statements he had made about prominent people.
