On Air personality, Do2dtun has called out a popular radio station over eight months of unpaid salaries.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X, he noted how it isn’t a must to open a radio station as he claimed that the said station owed its staff 8 months’ salary. Describing such behavior as cruel and inhuman, he stated that the station doesn’t need a soothsayer to tell them how despicable their action is.
“It’s not by force to open a radio station. Owing your staff for 8 months is very cruel and inhumane. You don’t need a soothsayer to tell you this”.
Revealing the name of the radio station in another tweet, he questioned how his friends and colleagues are coping.
“My friends and colleagues at Soundcity, how do you guys cope?
No salary for 8 months? Mehn that’s crãzy!!!!”.

In October, A Nigerian fashion designer called out Nollywood actresses Toyin Abraham and Annie Idibia over an alleged unpaid debt. The designer claimed that it had been a year and 2 months since they owed her, as she made them know that her patient was running out of them, and questioned how they could be with someone’s millions and feel so reluctant.
Big Brother Naija winner and singer Laycon had also called out DJ Neptune over unpaid royalties. In a post on X, he requested his royalty from their hit song, ‘Nobody’ remix as he questioned if his royalties weren’t still ready as he noted how it had been 4 years.
In December of 2023, Harrysong called out Kcee over unpaid royalties and unreleased songs. He further called Kcee a bully while he pleaded with him to be fair to him and give him what rightfully belongs to him.
In May last year, in Instagram live, he expressed that for the whole 7 years which he worked for Kcee, he was broke. He went on to narrate how at some point he did not even have a bed or foam to put in his apartment.
Upcoming music producer, Napji called out Davido, claiming he was the producer for Davido’s hit songs, Fem, Jowo, and Sunlight on his album, A Better Time. He revealed that he was paid an advance of N500,000 for each song, but he wasn’t paid his royalties and publishing. He threatened to release more information and urged the public to tag Davido.
Davido had reacted to it, writing, “Your papa”.
