LIt is the birthday of the father of media personality Do2dtun, and he has penned a touching note to him.
Taking to his Instagram page, the OAP, who is still fighting over custody of his kids, noted how his father’s duty and place as a grandfather was snatched from him, and though it hurt him, he stayed strong for them all. Calling him the toughest man in the world, he noted how his father took it all in for them and his trials these past few years.
He stated that his father’s teachings about being responsible, fight for one’s kids and never compromise one’s integrity still resonate in his heart. He praised his father for being his cheerleader and biggest fan. The Cool FM OAP credited his father for being the reason he has built his strength.
“So much emotions rushing in this morning and I think I can say I have met the toughest man. Oh! You took it all in for us all and my trials these past few years, you took it ALL. Your duties and place as a Grandfather were snatched from you, and it hurts you so much, but you would rather stay strong for us all. It’s not even just that; it’s how you went through series and series of downtimes, and it never mattered cos you made your children first over everything. Your teachings resonate in my heart, especially on being responsible, fighting for your kids, and never compromising your integrity for money. It made me stronger. You have been a cheerleader of us all, and more importantly, you are my biggest fan. Let me say this, and maybe I don’t say this at all, but Daddy, I am also your biggest fan cos you are the reason why I built this strength you all see today. Damn! What a man; what a journey.
Everything I know, I learnt from this ever-resilient Ondo Man. A Soldier outside but a teddy bear inside. You are 70 today and it apparently gave me the utmost assurance that you didn’t let everything you passed through change “YOU.”
