Fans of Grammy singer, Wizkid are going wild joy joy after a old tweet of Don Jazzy declaring that he is an influencer has resurfaced online.
On Monday, Wizkid had gone on a mini-rant on X-Platform, formerly known as Twitter, shading Mavins record label signee ladipoe.
Ladipoe had taken to X-Platform to mock Wizkid’s controversial statement of hip-hop is dead and a fan of Wizkid had called his attention to the shade. Reacting , Wizkid threw a jab at Don Jazzy, as he revealed that he was never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer, hinting at the fact that record label manager Don Jazzy was an influencer. This led the music executive to unfollowed him on social media.
Netizens had dug up a 2020 tweet of Don Jazzy declaring himself an influencer. In the resurfaced tweet, the Mavins founder had sent a message to Air Hostesses as he urged the to become social media Influencers. The music executive revealed that he had also turn full time influencer.
He added that he would reach out to social media influencers and content creators, Mr Macaroni, Taaoma and Lasisi to train him.
“To all our beautiful air hostesses that can’t fly for now. Maybe try and get influencer gigs. Me sef don turn full time influencer. I will holla mrmacaroni, taaoma and Lasisi to coach me. Adjust. Adapt”.
The tweet has left fans of Wizkid rejoicing as they noted how their favorite didn’t lie about him.

Recall that to further defend their favorite, Wizkid’s fans dug up evidence to proof that Don Jazzy is an influencer. They shared photos of Don Jazzy receiving Pulse Nigeria 2023 Music Influencer of the Year award and Media Influencer of the Year award.
Also defending Wizkid, music producer, Samklef had revealed that without Wizkid, the likes of Davido would not have a platform. He stated that Wizkid was the reason why kids were doing music today.
