Former Big Brother Naija ‘LockDown’ Housemate Erica has slammed a lady who opined that it is an insult to compare her with her colleague, Bimbo Ademoye.
This comes after a Twitter user shared a tweet comparing Erica Nlewedim and Bimbo Ademoye in terms of their talents and skills in acting.
Responding, a lady said it’s an insult to compare Erica with Bimbo stating that the latter built herself from the ground, unlike Erica, who was helped by the Big Brother Naija show to facilitate her entrance into Nollywood.
Reacting to this, Erica warned the lady not to undermine her hard work as she recalls featuring in low-budget films, doing free work and going to film school to improve herself.
According to Erica, many talented actors are still unknown because the right people do not know them.
Erica added that the BBNaija platform is meant to showcase one’s talent to a larger audience which she did instead of staying at home.
The Twitter user wrote: This is really an insult to Bimbo. Bimbo literally built herself from the ground up as an actress. Erica went for Big Brother and producers are using her for clout.
Erica wrote: Don’t you ever in your life undermine my hard work!! I did it all! free work, low/mid-budget films, went to film school to improve. Do you know how many talented actors are still unknown cos the right people don’t know them.
I should have sat at home waiting for magic instead of BBN? Not a lot of people are worth the response but I have to set things straight since there’s this ignorance concerning BBN talented actors! It’s a platform to show what you have been doing before a larger audience! I don’t only work hard I work smart!
