Nollywood actress and body positivity advocate, Monalisa Stephen has added another year to her age today.
On Instagram, Monalisa expressed her appreciation to God for the blessing of life, wonderful friends, and what she referred to as her ‘fanmily’.
Accompanied by a lovely photograph, she also urged her followers to continue to love and support her while offering prayers for their guidance and protection.
She penned: Yay it’s My Birthday It’s been an amazing year and I will always be grateful for the gift of life . I am grateful for my amazing friends and Fanmily. May God continue to guide and protect us all . Don’t stop loving and supporting me.

Monalisa Stephen queries colleagues as she shows support for Funke Akindele ahead of Governorship election
Kemi Filani recalls that at the start of March 2023, Monalisa queried her colleagues in the industry for not showing support to Funke Akindele who is running for the Deputy governor of Lagos state under the PDP unmbrella.
Taking to her Instagram page Monalisa Stephen showed massive support for her senior colleague as she queried others.
According to the plus-size actress, she is supporting who she can trust as she won’t join her other colleagues to sit on the fence. She noted that Funke Akindele is a successful woman who has achieved success. She asked why those the actress has worked for in the industry are not supporting her while noting that she is young and capable of holding the position she is vying for.
Throwing shades at her colleagues, Monalisa Stephen asked where those who rant about women supporting women are. She further tagged them as gossipers.
