Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced her venture into politics.
The bestfriend of Tonto Dikeh has announced her appointment as the Special Adviser to Abia State Governor, Dr Victor Okezie Ikpeazu.
Doris revealed that she has received her appointment letter as a special Adviser to the governor.
Sharing the good news on her Instagram page, she wrote,
“How it started! Congratulations to me as I receive my appointment letter as a Special Adviser to Abia State Governor… Dr Victor Okezie Ikpeazu”.
Doris Ogala is no doubt following her bestfriend’s footsteps.
Kemi Filani news reported that Tonto Dikeh had joined the leagues of celebrities contesting for political seats.
The controversial actress took many by surprise as she announced her political ambition.
The actress revealed that she was picked as the running mate for Governorship Candidate Tonte Ibraye of the African Democratic Congress, Rivers State.
Urging her fans to get their PVC, Tonto Dikeh listed the things she would focus on during her time in power.
In her first acceptance speech, she said that she was optimistic that they will salvage the plights confronting our dear State.
She also said she wanted to use this medium to advance her career in politics and governance, motivate and encourage other women ,especially the youth, to get involved in active politics in other to be part of policy formulation and decision making process in a view to better the life of the younger generations.
