Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala isn’t done dragging the family of the late actor, John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday that Mr Ibu’s body was taken away from the morgue at Evercare Hospital. His wife and family were spotted at the hospital as they took his body away to his hometown in Enugu for burial. His sons, Valantine Okafor and Daniel Okafor were on grounds, as well as other members of the family.
Reacting to it, Doris stated that the late actor suffered so much and amidst his decaying body, he was still trying to stay strong. She claimed that most people around him did him dirty.
“AHHHH THIS MAN SUFFERED.. AMIDST HIS DECAYING BODY. HE WAS STILL STRONG. AHHHHHH GOD . Most people around this man did him dirty. Chai. GOD BLESS @ladyjasminec”.
In another post, she noted how the family left him alone and were fighting for his property while he was still alive.

MOVING ABOUT IN POLICE STATION… CHAI. ITS WELL. @ladyjasminec GOD SAW YOUR HEART AND SUFFERING… ITS WELL”.
When the news of his death broke up, Doris had made a case for Jasmine Okafor, the late actor’s adopted daughter.
Expressing how broken she was, she stated that if Jasmine was still with Mr Ibu, he wouldn’t have died. Sending a message to Jasmine, she assured her that she would be fine as she noted how Jasmine tried but the family pushed him away.
In another post, she stated that people played with Ibu’s life as she claimed that the family was after his money and didn’t care for him. Doris stood on grounds that Jasmine was the only one who showed him love and care until they pushed her out of the family.
Recall that while the actor was battling for his life his family was fighting over his donation money. Reports claimed that his wife, Stella wanted to take over the donation money to fund her lavish lifestyle, and had used her account to get N1 million from the donation.
Stella Maris, speaking out alleged that Jasmine was trying to make her an outsider in her marriage. Mr Ibu’s son, Daniel, however, debunked her allegation on Jasmine as he revealed that he was the one in charge of the actor’s account.
Following this, Stella ordered their arrest, but they were later released and cleared of all charges.
In January, the two were later re-arrested and the Nigerian police confirmed it. The police stated that they had allegedly defrauded the actor of the sum of N55 million and investigation unearthed text messages via WhatsApp between Jasmine and Daniel detailing how they conspired and hatched their criminal plans. It was also exposed that the two had a sham marriage at the Ikoyi Magistrate Registry with plans to escape from the country to the UK where they intended to settle with their proceeds of crime.
Taking to her YouTube page a week back, Jasmine shed light on the incident as she narrated how she met the actor, who was a friend to her late father and had acted as a father figure to her following his demise.
