Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala has made some strong allegations about ailing actor, John Okafor better known as Mr Ibu’s wife, Stella Maris.
Taking to her Instagram page, she alleged that the actor’s wife is demanding a house from the money donated to her husband for his treatment. According to the report, she wants to use the money to repair and buy a new house, which she claims is leaking.
Doris alleged that from the donation, N2.5 million was transferred to Stella’s account for her upkeep.
“Ibu’s wife is demanding for a house saying that her house is leaking water. That they should get her a new house from the house contributed for Ibu’s treatment. They transferred a total of 2.5 million to her account for upkeep from the money. Hmmm”.
In another post, Doris Ogala raised an important question as to why Mr Ibu made his son a signatory to his account and ignored his wife.
“My question is why did Mr Ibu take his second son to the bank and make him a signatory if the wife had been good as she claimed? Why didn’t Ibu make the wife signatory to the account? So many things are not adding up, there is more to it”.
Earlier on, Doris Ogala had alleged that Jasmine and Ibu’s sons were arrested at Alagbon Police Station, where they have since been detained.
She claimed that Mr Ibu’s wife had ordered the arrest of Jasmine for allegedly moving 300 million out of the actor’s account. According to reports, Mr Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her a new house from the money contributed to her husband’s treatment.
Taking to the comment section, many expressed disappointment at how the family is embarrassing the actor online.
It is no longer news that Mr Ibu’s home is in chaos as the family publicly battles over his donation.
According to Gistlover, his wife wants to take over the donation money to fund her lavish lifestyle as she is always talking about buying an iPhone 15 and new cars.
The blog also claimed that Mr Ibu’s wife had used her account to get N1 million from the donation.
Reacting to it, Stella Maris alleged that Jasmine was trying to make her an outsider in her marriage. Describing her statement as malicious, she vowed to address Jasmine’s excessive interference in her family affairs and other related matters.
Refuting her claims, Mr Ibu’s son, Daniel revealed that he is the one in charge of the actor’s account. According to him, he is the signatory to the account and his next of kin.
He stated that there was no truth in Stella Maris’ allegations as Jasmine didn’t have access to his account.
Recall that John Okafor has been hospitalized for weeks now and had spent his 66th birthday in the hospital and is currently battling for life.
The Nollywood icon has undergone 7 successful surgeries and had one of his legs amputated.
This drama is coming less than a year after they made headlines for publicly clashing over his property.
