Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has called out her colleague, Funke Akindele for allegedly blocking her on Instagram.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that the former friends had unfollowed each other on Instagram, which left many battled.
According to reports online, Funke was the one who made the move after Faithia shunned her movie premiere but attended Mercy Aigbe’s own. Faithia allegedly didn’t turn up at Funke’s movie premiere to pay her back for shunning her father’s burial despite inviting her.
Taking to her TikTok page, Faithia had called out the actress as she made her know that she isn’t her God. Faithia made Funke know that she wasn’t bothered by her petty act as she took several swipes at her.

Their fallout is coming as a surprise as last year, Faithia stood solidly by Funke’s side as she promoted her A Trībe Called Judah movie. Faithia had made several pieces of content to help promote the movie.
This isn’t the first time, Funke Akindele is having issues with her colleagues over their support for her rivals. Recall that Funke and Iyabo once fell out and were at loggerheads for years now, after Iyabo dragged Funke when a blogger criticised Toyin Abraham’s movie, The Ghost and The Tout. However, Iyabo Ojo and Funke Akindele put their beef aside by embracing and exchanging pecks at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award season 8 in 2022.
There has been years of rivalry between Toyin and Funke, as they have both dominated the TV screen for years and are still doing so.
However, the two ladies settled their differences last year as Toyin celebrated Funke on her birthday, and she reciprocated. Toyin had also attended Akindele’s movie premiere, which further shut down rumours of animosity between the box office Queens.
An alleged report later made rounds of how Funke pressured media mogul, Mo Abudu to decast Toyin Abraham from Chief Daddy’s movie and replace her with Kate Henshaw, which Mo succumbed to. Unfortunately, the relationship between Mo Abudu and Funke didn’t last long after Mo Abudu told Beverly Osu what Funke told her about the upcoming actress (Beverly). Funke learned about it and cut ties with the media mogul.
The blogger further claimed that Funke did the same with Beverly Osu as she tried pressuring Mo Abudu to decast her in a movie but for the intervention of Joke Silva, Beverly Osu was saved. Cutie Julls claimed that the issue almost led to a confrontation between Beverly and Funke after she got wind of it.
