It is the 18th wedding anniversary of Nigerian singer, Eedris Abdulkareem and his beautiful wife, Yetunde Sekinat.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, Eedris expressed gratitude his wife for saving his life. He appreciated her for the chance she has given to him to continue living a normal, productive life.
Recounting the couple’s past 18 years of marriage, he noted how they have been through it all together.
Eedris, didn’t fail to appreciate his creator, who has given them the grace to overcome all challenges.

“Yetunde Sekinat Abdulkareem, when my life is saved due to your precious gift, there is no words to express my gratitude. Please know I will always cherish the gift and be grateful forever. I will never be able to tell you all the feelings that I have for you, but I want you to know how grateful I am for the chance you have given me to continue living a normal, productive life.
Words can’t begin to describe how grateful I am to you. I have grown to appreciate life and I do not take it for granted.
Lord, we praise your holy name for watching over us for the past 18 years we have been married. In that time, we have shared each other’s happiness, celebrations, triumphs, accomplishments, losses, sorrows, and laughter.

Eedris Abdulkareem diagnosed with kidney failure
Recall that months back, Eedris Abdulkareem was diagnosed with kidney failure, according to his friend and colleague Myke Pam.
In a statement released on behalf of Eedris’ Lakreem Entertainment, Myke Pam said the ‘Nigeria Jaga Jaga’ singer was undergoing dialysis at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos.
He added that a kidney transplant was scheduled to be done at the end of July.
Singer, MI Abaga had revealed that the singer’s wife had volunteered to donate one of her kidneys to him.
While asking Nigerians to donate and help Eedris recover, he mentioned that the kidney to be transplanted was donated by a family member which happened to be his beautiful wife.
Eedris makes lifetime commitment to wife
Following the success of his kidney transplant, Eedris Abdulkareem had penned a heartfelt note to his wife, Yetunde and Nigerians.
Breaking his silence, the singer appreciated Nigerians for the overwhelming love he received.
“Thank you God.
I am specifically giving Thanks and Praise to the Almighty God for my successful kidney transplant surgery over the weekend…..may HIS Holy Name be Glorified forever and forever.
Words cannot express my love, devotion, and commitment to my adorable, loving, supportive, and compassionate wife, Yetunde, with whom God Has made my life complete….baby.
I will always Love, cherish and adore you forever. My awesome, lovely children, God Has harkened to your fervent prayers….daddy and mummy will be coming home hale and hearty soon.
