The Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, has penned a beautiful birthday note to celebrate his mother’s 71st birthday today, the 21st of May, 2023.
The king shared a photo of himself and his mother online with a heartwarming and gratified caption, expressing delight in his mother.
Elegushi celebrates and appreciates his mother for being his friend, and confidant and for always staying strong at all times. He prayed that the blessings of Allah keep and grant the queen mother many years.
He wrote, on Instagram, “I celebrate you today, and I thank God for keeping you safe and in sound health these past 71 years.
Thank you for being my mother, friend and confidant.
Thank you staying strong at all times.
May Almighty Allah continue to keep you for us and grant you many more years in good health.

In 2022, the Elegushi monarch marked his mother’s 70th birthday with a warm letter celebrating the undeniable grace in her life.
He acknowledged his mother’s success story as a wife, mother and community leader, stating he has seen her commitment to motherhood all his life.
