Encomiums are beginning to pour in after Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal K1 got installed as the first Mayegun of Yorubaland.
The title was bestowed on the musician by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, in a ceremony that had celebrities, friends and well-wishers in attendance.
Some of them have taken to social media to congratulate Wasiu Ayinde Marshal K1 for the new feat.
Comic actor Sanyeri wrote:

Comic actor Mr Latin shared a picture with the Mayegun of Yorubaland on the installation day saying, “this morning With Mayegun d 1st….”
Veteran Nollywood actor, Adebayo Salami also congratulated the Fuji musician:
“On behalf of myself and my beloved family, I congratulate you @kingwasiuayindemarshal on your coronation as the FIRST MAYEGUN OF YORUBALAND.
It is my prayers that Allah grant you the strengths, wisdom and health to enjoy the benefits of the position”.
Lagos NURTW boss, Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo also celebrated the musician. H e wrote:
