Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has called for a better Nigeria as she kicks against death wishes.
On her Instagram page, she expressed how disheartening it is to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone. She stated that no matter one’s political views, they mustn’t let hater over ride their humanity.
Eniola Badmus admonished Nigerians to do better and let their change begin through dialogue, truth and unity and not violence or death wishes. She called for Nigerians to choose decency over division.
“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all. No matter your political views, we must never let hate over ride our humanity.
As Nigerians, we are better than this. If we want change, let it be through dialogue, truth, and unity – not violence or death wishes.
Let’s choose decency over division”.
Badmus, in a past post, had advocated for Nigerian brands. She told Nigerians that it’s time they start supporting our brands.
A few weeks back, Eniola shared a message with Nigerians. Sharing photos of her in her office in Abuja, the Special assistant admonished Nigerians to walk in unity, pride, and purpose. She made them realise that the power to shape their future rests in their hands.
In May, 2024, following her support for President Tinubu during the election, Badmus was appointed the Special Assistant to the Speaker of The Federal Republic of Nigeria on Social Events and Public Hearing.
While confirming her appointment, Eniola appreciated Abbas for the political appointment as she expressed how honoured she was to be given such an opportunity to serve under his leadership.
In July, the actress officially resumed her duty. She had shared photos of her and the Senator from their meeting with Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) in Abuja.
