Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has cried out over the minor setback she is experiencing in her movie career.
The single mother of two took to her Instagram page moments ago to lament over how many cinemas had rejected her film.
Revealing their reasons, she stated that they perceived the actress does not have money to do worldwide publicity for her movies.
“A few cinemas have rejected my film Not because it is a bad film. But because they perceive I do not have money to do worldwide publicity. I am hurt but I understand this is business. It’s not personal. I will continue to do my best and live within my means.
Lashing out at journalists, Etinosa wrote, “You post bad stuff about me for free. Yet when I want to make a living and make a difference in life you slam me with a bill. Nice one. Dear sister press Screening invites are going out this week to all journalists. Pls DM me for yours. Thanks”.
Etinosa Idemudia gets honored by Edo State Governor
Weeks back, Etinosa Idemudia met with the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, and his beautiful wife, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki.
The actress was among the few celebrities from Edo State who turned up for Edo Film Festival.
Just like Mercy Aigbe, Etinosa Idemudia was recognized and honored by the governor for her impact on the movie industry.
An overjoyed Etinosa expressed how honored and grateful she was for the recognition.
She noted how her years of hard work and sleepless nights are finally paying off.
“What an honor. Not only did I receive an award last night but I was congratulated in person and invited to a dinner by the Executive Governor and the amiable and graceful First Lady of Edo State, His excellency Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki and Her excellency Mrs Bassey Obaseki. What a night. Somehow, all the years of toiling and sleepless nights feel worth it right about now and I am soooo motivated to do more. Uwese Baba.
