Nollywood actress, Evan Okoro has gifted her mother a new house in celebration of Easter.
Taking to her Instagram page to share clips of the newly furnished house, she noted how she doesn’t have a house of her own but she is glad her mother has one.
She noted how she and he had been through a lot together as she recounted how they hawked, borrowed money to pay house rent, and more. Evan revealed that despite being an actress, she was hawking at that time, and would always cover her face in shame.
Now God has changed her story and has granted her ‘her’ greatest wish which is to gift her mother a house in Asaba.
“My mom’s Easter gift came at the right time please celebrate her with me.
Precious house gift to my golden mother, in ASABA city of delta state ….. congratulations mummy, this house is for you. I Told you that we would make it mummy, I have no house of my own but I’m happy you made it before me, we have been through a lot together, we hawked together, and I could remember borrowing money to pay for your house rent back then, even as an actress. I was still Hawking as an actress. Covering my face with shame back then. Chai mummy we are no longer poor the lord has done it for you …. This has been my dream life to give you a house in the city. Smiles I have given my all to my family. First was a roof over my father’s head in my village, and today is for my golden mother…. Father lord this one alone is enough for me I’m grateful”.
Last year, a lot of celebrities gifted their mothers’ houses. Taking the lead was Ruby Ojiakor who kept an everlasting smile on her mother’s face by buying her a new house as a New Year gift.
Taking to her Instagram page to show off the house, Ruby rained praises on her mother, as she noted how she has
been mocked online for her poor lifestyle, but she decided to bear it all to give her mother the best in life.
Adekunle Gold had followed suit, as he celebrated his mother in a big way with a house gift.
The news was made known by Popular skitmaker, Kiekie, who was in attendance at his mother’s birthday party.
Confirming the news, Adekunle shared a video of the mansion describing his mother as one of the most important women in his life.
Famous Nigerian dancer, Poco Lee had also surprised his mother with a new house. He shared photos and clips of the Bungalow as he expressed gratitude to his Maker. Welcoming his mother into the Landlady’s club, he congratulated her on her new blessing.
While others were gifting their mothers’ houses, Nancy Isime had bought her father a house. She shared the good news of her Christmas present with her family. Nancy Isime revealed that she bought her father a 6-bedroom apartment.
According to the talented movie star, this had been one of her biggest dreams and she was glad to bring it to fruition.
