Fancy Acholonu, an American model and ex fiance of Alex Ekubo, has cleared the air on her public apology to the actor.
While responding to a fan’s query, Fancy clarified reports that have been making rounds on the reason for her apology and rumoured reconciliation with him.
Fancy Acholonu confirmed that she was forced to make the apology and she fell for it. However, her eyes are now fully open and she now has full understanding.
Contrary to reports that the American model and Alex Ekubo have reconciled, Fancy stated that there isn’t any iota of truth to it.
The fan wrote, “Did Alex convince u yo make that apology post? I saw something on the blogs. If he did. Sis that is extremely manipulative you should run for your life. He only wanted to use you for revenge”.
Fancy replied,
“Yes he did. It’s true. I fell for it. My eyes are now fully open. I’m at peace & now have full understanding”.
Alex Ekubo and Fancy Acholonu reconcile
Recall that it wad alleged that Alex Ekubo had reconciled with his estranged fiance, Fancy Acholonu.
According to words on the streets, the actor had forced his ex-fiance to publicly apologise to him and to retract some of her statements. Insiders revealed that the apology was just something Alex demanded just to repair his image which she dented through her statement about their break-up. The insiders also claimed that Alex had approved of the post before she made it public.
Kemi Filani had also learnt that Fancy, who is based in the U. S, has been in Nigeria for some days now, and has been living with Alex.
Chats and videos between the estranged lovebirds have further fueled rumours of their reconciliation.
Fancy Acholonu tenders apology to Alex Ekubo
Fancy had surprised many when she tendered a public apology to Alex, over a year after calling off their engagement.
In a post shared via Instagram, Acholonu apologised for the hurt she caused her ex-fiancé and his family by publicly announcing their break up
She further affirmed that her heart still belonged to the actor as losing him “felt like grief.”
Sharing a picture of rosier times, she wrote, “Like our shirt says, Nothing makes sense when we’re apart @alexxekubo you still have my heart. I miss you, I love you, and I’m truly sorry for all the hurt & pain you and your family went through with our break up.
“My actions in how I handled things was out of my character. I should have controlled my emotions and not been so over reactive. I said too much, I did too much. Please forgive me, I’ve learned my lesson on how to handle situations better.
“I haven’t expressed myself properly. I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and say you, your family, & friends still mean the world to me. Losing you has felt like grief. Love heals #FalexxForever.”
Reacting to this, Alex Ekubo wrote, I appreciate your apology, may God bless us all.”
