Netizens have reacted unpleasantly to the new release of Nigerian singer Asake, only few days after Afrobeat superstar Davido dropped his new album, TIMELESS.
Around 9pm on Wednesday night, Asake released a new single title 2:30 and has since sparked reaction from music lovers in Nigeria.
A well-known music blog recently asked netizens for their thoughts on the new song, but it appears that many of them have yet to listen to it.
Instead, they are still enjoying Davido’s latest album and have taken the opportunity to criticize Asake for releasing a new song during such a crucial time.

It was reported days back that Davido had announced that he would be hosting a special live event in London, New York, and Lagos.

The singer finally returned on stage as he made his first performance at his show in NYC on Sunday night, April 2nd.
