Mixed reactions have been trailing the eviction of Big Brother Naija season 7, Level Up housemate, Hermes.
Kemi Filani recalls that three housemates were evicted during the pre-final eviction show. During the Sunday live eviction night, Groovy, Sheggz and Hermes were evicted, respectively.
The eviction of Hermes came as a shock to the viewers, who believed he was one of the strongest contenders in the Level Up season of BBNaija.
Many had taken to social media to express their disappointment in the show’s organizers as they alleged that the voting process was rigged, while some claimed Hermes fans did not come out well enough to vote for him.
Kemi Filani recalls that lovers of Big Brother Naija season 7, Level Up, were confused when reports emerged that the show’s organizers were about to unveil a new level in the house.
A post shared online via the DSTV Nigeria official Instagram page disclosed that another level will be unlocked for an eviction show.
It reads: “Superfans, another eviction Sunday is here. Who will be leaving Big Brother’s house and unlocking a new level? Catch it live at 7 pm. Not home?”
Many who reacted to this development expressed confusion on why another level would be introduced to the ongoing reality show when it is just a few days to the final.
This decision did not sit well with many Big Brother Naija fans, who wanted their favourites saved at all costs. However, some believed the new level announcement was a trick by BBNaija’s organizers to entice many into watching the live eviction show.
