Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has hailed his daughter, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ as she bags a new role with the King of England.
The disc jockey had visited the Buckingham Palace where his Majesty King Charles 111 hosted her and others at a star-studded King’s Trust International reception. Cuppy is among the few times he invited to join the 2024 Prince’s Trust Award winners at a very special reception with the Majesty.
Cuppy also bagged a role as she becomes an Ambassador of the King’s Trust International.
Taking to his Instagram page, Femi shared a photo of his daughter and the King as she expressed how he is of her. He praised his daughter for representing Africa as he noted how she is going places.
The proud father further congratulated her on her new role.
“Our @CuppyMusic is going places! His Majesty King Charles III invited Ms Cuppy to Buckingham Palace, and she represented us brilliantly Congratulations on your new role as a King’s Trust International Ambassador … F.Ote”.
This isn’t the first time Cuppy has been invited to a royal event. In 2022, she had caused a stir online with her dressing for the late Queen of England’s Platinum Jubilee party, to celebrate her 70th reign on the throne.
DJ Cuppy had played dress-up for one of the events which she graced and her outfit for the event was what caught the attention of many, who compared it to a modern-day nursing outfit.
In the beginning of the year, Cuppy had announced her six major plans for 2024. She xpressed that she wanted to be her softest, healthiest, prettiest, and most successful version and had also shared that she was also taking gym seriously.
In a later post, she had taken to X platform to reveal how 2024 was going for her so far, as she remarked on the fact that it’s only been a quarter of the year, 2024 has been her best year yet.
Back on the 14th of January 2024, DJ Cuppy had sent out a quick PSA to Nigerians as she cried out over being misunderstood. She expressed that Nigerians do not understand her personality and her humour. She also expressed her longing for people to really understand her for who she is one day.
