Media personality Toke Makinwa has stirred reactions online as as she seeks members for her newly founded believers fellowship.
Toke Makinwa spoke about her deal with God which include surrending and letting go of the wheel to Him to do His best. The on air personality turn actress appreciates God for keeping His word even when she did not fulfill her side of the bargain.
Moving on, she disclosed her plans to start a fellowship group with believers because she wants to experience God with like minded people.
Toke also sought the advice of her fans on whether it should be a weekly or a monthly affair.
“God, we had a deal, I am to surrender to you, let go of the wheel and you do what you know how to do best.
Why didn’t I do this earlier? Thank you heavenly father for keeping your word.
I want to start a fellowship group with believers, Those who love God. I want to experience God with like minded people. How do I start??? Will you attend? Monthly? Weekly? Help???” Toke Makinwa wrote on her Instagram story.

Kemi Filani recalls that Toke Makinwa spoke about her relationship with God and why she tore her prayer request.
On the X platform, Makinwa revealed that she tore all her prayer requests because she noticed that those who have tragedy befall them aren’t God’s enemies.
She came to the realization that God owes no one nothing and that good and bad will always happen to people. However, she believes one should just do his own thing and relax as life has already been programmed to happen how it will be.
Toke made it clear that though she knows God is real but she is struggling to understand why there is so much pain in the world.
She however warned that people shouldn’t misquote her tweet, as she isn’t saying God doesn’t change things or prayer isn’t good but, she tore up her prayer requests cause people are often obsessed with what we want God to do next that they do not live in the moment whether it be good or bad.
